Kendrick 4×10 introduction

Kendrick Amplifier is an amplifier brand founded in 1989 in Texas, USA. With many world-class guitarists as clients, the company produces vintage-style amplifiers using carefully selected components and drawing on experience gained while overhauling and repairing vintage tube amplifiers.

Kendrick’s early models were mainly so-called Tweed-style amplifiers, and when Kendrick began manufacturing its own amplifiers, other manufacturers were also releasing Tweed vintage-style amplifiers. However, Kendrick’s amps were of exceptional quality and were used by professionals on stage.

There is no doubt that vintage Fender amps have a tone that only they can produce, but since they have been in production for half a century, the electrolytic capacitors and the high voltage points on tube amps have already exceeded their useful life and require an overhaul. You can continue to use them by replacing it with a current capacitor, or by performing a so-called recapping, but the sound will change, and in many cases, it is best left as it is for collection value. Kenrdick amps are designed to provide a vintage-like sound that can be taken on world tours without worry.

Today, Kendrick offers not only Tweed-style amplifiers, but also its own unique designs. All of the designs are reminiscent of the history of guitar amplifiers in the U.S.A., and they arouse your curiosity as a guitarist as to what the product will sound like to match your playing style.

We have now succeeded in sampling an early model of the 2410, which is also one of the best-selling Kendrick amplifiers. It has a 5F6 circuit based on the so-called Fender Bassman, and is equipped with four 10″ speaker units. The internals have been carefully hand-wired to create a truly vintage amp.
